Presbyterian College’s new apartment housing complex, adjacent to the campus core, creates an incentive for student success by rewarding seniors with prime residential amenities. Four buildings, housing a total of 200 seniors in 50 four-bedroom suites, frame a central quad containing a signature tree-lined axis and generous amounts of open green space. The relationships of new and existing pedestrian pathways reinforce safe connections between the central campus, the new complex, and further outlying student housing and intramural fields. Additional amenities include an apartment for the Resident Director, outdoor verandas, on-site laundry, and a commons building at the head of the quad. The project is currently in the design development phase.
