Eastminster Sanctuary Renovation

Eastminster Presbyterian Church

Completion Date
October 2014

Project Budget
$2.5 Million

Improvements to Eastminster Presbyterian’s sanctuary and overall campus include extensive renovation and strategic additions that preserve the architectural character of the mid-century structure.  Multiple spaces are being transformed in order to increase functionality, upgrade finishes, and comply with current codes.  The new porte-cochére and covered walkway provide a direct accessible route from the main parking area to the sanctuary.  A new entrance is created by enclosing the existing south breezeway, and restrooms are significantly upgraded to improve accessibility.  New tile flooring, re-plastered ceilings and refinished pews revitalize the grand sanctuary space.  Campus accessibility is updated with the installation of a new elevator and reconstruction of existing stairs.
