A simple warehouse is transformed into a state-of-the-art diesel engine training facility with this renovation of a 13,500 SF pre-engineered metal building for Horry-Georgetown Technical College.  The new facility allows the college to expand the program by doubling the amount of teaching and lab space currently available. A complete interior transformation features strategic placement of accent colors that energize the interior, and durable finishes ensure that the lab will stand up to heavy everyday use. The building’s HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems will be replaced. A welcoming lobby and conference room allow visitors to observe the lab in action. The lab itself is centralized around roll up access doors and equipped with the latest technology for diesel engine training. The design team has found creative ways to address all the client’s needs while maintaining a tight budget and aggressive schedule.
