Lexington County Baseball Stadium
The Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission (LCARC) repurposed the former Wildcat Hollow
football field into the new Lexington County Baseball Stadium. The new stadium, located on Ball Park
Road in Lexington and adjacent to several LCRAC’s other fields, was carefully sited to preserve the
existing tree line, while also utilizing the existing grades. The stadium seats approximately 1,000 guests
and provides an intimate baseball viewing experience. Features of the stadium include an expanded
concrete concourse, lower bowl box seating, metal bleacher seating with a roof canopy, administrative
offices, concessions, and a stadium club that can be used for special events. The dimensions used in the
design of the field were taken from some of the country’s most iconic Major League fields, including
Fenway, Wrigley, Yankee, and Dodger stadiums. The stadium serves as the new home for the Lexington
County Blowfish (formerly Columbia Blowfish), which is a collegiate summer league team.
